Jane Stern Dorado Community Library

The Jane Stern Community Library will run the Closing Gaps Program to increase the capacity of library personnel and services in technological realms to meet the ever-changing needs of the 21st century communities of Puerto Rico. This technology performance improvement and advancement initiative will develop three distinct areas of the library: personnel, technological platforms, and inclusion. In addition to adding a library services professional specializing in services and delivery, the program will support administrative and outreach efforts of the library coordinator. By increasing the competencies of library staff at all locations, the library coordinator can improve the level of services being offered to library patrons. The initiative will also support the training and professional development of all staff in technology and programs necessary for service delivery and library communication and operations.
