Rhythm! Discovery Center

The Percussive Arts Society’s Rhythm! Discovery Center (R!DC) in Indianapolis will implement a series of live music and interactive educational programs for families and school-age youth to reconnect the community following months of isolation during the pandemic. R!DC will organize two live weekend performances and three summer evening concerts featuring local, regional, and touring artists showcasing a range of percussion instruments and styles. Interactive programming coinciding with an upcoming vibraphone exhibit will explore the diversity of vibraphone artists across genres. In addition, R!DC will work with local nonprofits to reach residents from traditionally underrepresented areas of the community and encourage their participation in upcoming programs.
