Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis

The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis will implement the Collective Impact Project bringing artists, organizations, and residents from surrounding communities together to create collaborative works of art that raise awareness around complex social issues. In partnership with Creative Reaction Lab, a local nonprofit organization serving people of color, the museum will organize exhibitions and public programs showcasing the community-created artwork. To ensure the museum remains a welcome and open resource for all, staff will receive training in anti-racism and trauma-aware practices. This project seeks to overcome the impact of stress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic through trauma-aware, healing art projects that respond to community needs.
