La Veta Regional Library District

The La Veta Regional Library District in Colorado will expand the ways in which it engages with isolated, rural mountain communities as they emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic with demographic shifts and changing needs, brought about by far-reaching economic and social changes. The library will create a community coordinator position to build and strengthen its community and intergovernmental partnerships. The library also will hire a community needs analyst to design, deliver, and analyze a community needs assessment. The library will use the assessment to design programs and allocate resources to best serve patrons and support their post-pandemic recovery.
