Discovery Museum

Throughout its 41-year history, the Discovery Museum has proven itself time and again to be a leader in the children’s museum field by nimbly and creatively addressing important audience needs ahead of the national curve. For the past 30 years, the museum has been delivering STEM-focused curriculum topics to local schools and is now present in more than 2,000 classrooms across Massachusetts - arguably the largest STEM-focused museum outreach program in the state. Lastly, Discovery Museum is the first children’s museum in the country to produce all of its own electricity onsite, and unique in its role as one of the largest nonprofit community solar providers in the state with five nonprofits now operating on discounted clean energy thanks to the museum’s production.
