Staff from IMLS will be on the ground at the American Library Association’s annual conference, June 22-27th in Chicago. This post is a short guide for anyone who might be visiting the conference and would like to learn more about IMLS programs and IMLS-funded projects.
See Us at the IMLS Booth
IMLS program staff will be onsite at booth #1613 during the Friday evening reception and Saturday through Monday during regular exhibit hours. Stop by to discuss upcoming funding opportunities or to find out about the library work IMLS is supporting.
IMLS Director Dr. Kathryn K. Matthew will be at the IMLS booth and is looking forward to hearing from you about museum, library, and information services throughout the nation. She will be available Saturday through Monday.
Sessions Featuring IMLS Supported Work
Several ALA sessions will feature IMLS grantees discussing their projects or IMLS staff discussing our programs. In addition to the highlights below, there will be many other sessions featuring IMLS funded work. We hope you will seek them out, and we look forward to seeing you at the conference.
