Today in Salzburg, IMLS, together with leaders from around the world, will take part in the Salzburg Global Seminar to explore Libraries and Museums in an Era of Participatory Culture. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in a conversation about how our increasingly global and connected society impacts the roles of libraries and museums. Rob Stein, Deputy Director for Research, Technology, and Engagement at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and Dr. Michael Stephens, Assistant Professor in the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University will be blogging from the conference so that we can bring even more voices to the table. The conversation promises to be provocative and wide ranging.
So tune in and participate!
